Fjord Cold Plunge is a local Austin-based startup company that elevates daily wellness routines by bringing the authentic Norwegian cold immersion experience to homes everywhere. Fjord invites individuals to TAKE THE PLUNGE into ultimate wellness with its transformative cold therapy products. The Fjord lineup makes cold therapy convenient, portable, and affordable, featuring inflatable, insulated tubs crafted with top-notch drop-stitch construction for durability and portability. The powerful American-made chillers cool the water to a refreshing 37 degrees, perfect for cold-water enthusiasts. Whether it's for post-workout recovery, deeper sleep, or the invigorating dopamine release from cold-water immersion, Fjord Cold Plunge stands as the ultimate revitalization essential.

This innovative company approached me to help design and develop their eCommerce website, design and set up their email marketing campaign, and write copy for both.

APPROACH

As a web developer and visual designer, I take a holistic approach to bring my clients' visions to life. Working with Fjord Cold Plunge was a particularly enjoyable experience. I collaborated closely with the owner, developing a comprehensive color palette, typography, and the entire website design to reflect their unique brand identity.

Based on our discussions, it was clear that Fjord wanted to portray a Norwegian-inspired feel with a Texas twist. To achieve this, I selected inviting colors reminiscent of water and health, emphasizing the numerous benefits of cold plunging. I also wrote custom code injections to enhance the website's functionality and presentation, incorporating elements such as video banners, pop-ups, and alerts.

In addition to the website, I designed Fjord's email marketing campaign by creating engaging templates and writing compelling copy to attract more customers. This multi-faceted approach ensured that Fjord's brand was consistently represented across all digital platforms, effectively communicating their message and boosting their online presence.
